**Desparately NEED HELP
I have a friend that is going to customize a shotgun for his dad. The friend doing the work is going to create a design of a pheasant on CAD. The material is going to be removed with a computer programed CNC machine. My question is: What is the process for finishing the area which is now raw steel?
Please help ASAP, is for a Christmas Present!!! Thanks for any help!!!

Much more information is needed to answer your question. Is the cnc going to carve a design and then you need to reblue? Is it the action to be worked on...if so is it case hardened? What tool point will actually do the metal removal? And finally, are you sure this is what you want to do? Have you seen any metal object this has been do to before?
