| Hello Lil. Good to see you on the Forum. Not sure I have a Henry pattern but will get it to you if I find one. I expect someone will have one for you. Are you still riding the Hog? | Hi Lil Go to www.ebay.com and type in gun engravings. It brings up a number of books etc. One of them is titled "Winchester Factory Engraving and Carving 1897 Gun Catalouge". It's a reprint of an original. It's seems pretty cheap and it may have what your after. The guy that sells them has all sorts of bits and pieces that are worth looking at. | Lil. The book "Winchester Engraving" by R.L. Wilson, ISBN 0-9625649-0-7 has many pictures of the different styles of engraved Henry's in the first chapter. If you don't have a copy of your own it is probably available at a good gun library. I know Trinidad College, Colorado had it and I'm sure many engravers and collectors have a copy you could look at. If you are anywhere near me you are welcome to look at my copy. Hope this helps, John. |
