| Lassen College is in search of engraving instructors to teach: GSS 130 Professional Engraving (July 31 - Aug. 4, 2006). Course description - An advanced course designed to cover the techniques of engraving as used by different masters in the art of firearms engraving. GSS 133 Scrimshaw (Aug. 7-11, 2006). Course description - An introductory course designed to provide the students with the basic skills of the art of scrimshaw. Instruction includes tools and equipment and their use, pattern design and design transfer.
