Kimber 1911 stainles
Does anyone have any about enagaving a 1911 model Kimber Stainless steel pistol?

hi dave .. i cant tell you any thing about kimber but i can say that i have engraved and gold inlayed severial ss colts 1911 and i found out that the slide is hard but can be engraved , i used steve lindsays carbide/colbolt chisels for that and the frame is soft .. i hope this will help .. ron p.

Do those Lindsay carbide/carbolt chisels make a big difference over the carbide tools?

well dave i have notice a difference in the burabilaty of this chisel , i have used a lot ot carbide chisels and i have found out that the lindsay hold up the best .. ron p.
