| Craig, Here's what our historical files have: Japanese, circa early 1960's Was known to be in the USA in early 60's, had Japanese students with him, he was well known in Japan, said to be elderly in the 60's, did little engraving himself but supervised his students work. had an engraving school in Tokyo. Hope that helps. |

| Craig, Ogawa came to some of the early Great Western Shows in L A. A lot of his guns engraved were resold there, some at a lower price than an unengraved gun of the same type. Some were quite decent. Typically, they were heavy cut with broad flair cutting. Rather like western bright cut engraving. Hop this is some more help. Best regards, John. |
