| I have a chance to buy a number of the Polymer sample engraving reporductions from several different engravers. Does anyone have any idea of the value of the samples? Are they commonly available? I want to be fair to the seller, the price has kind of been let up to me. Before I saw these I did not know they existed. The detail in the copies is very good, I think they will be a great study aid. Thanks in advance, Rick |

| Hello and welcome Rick. The castings you mention are of great value as study models and records of fine engraving. Most of the standard size ones about the size of a rifle floor plate or equal generally sell for $10-15 each. Many of the larger or more complex ones sell for considerably more. FEGA has a downloadable catalog on this forum showing the price of the castings that it has for sale. This may give you an idea of the pricing. | Rick, If you see any photos of engravings you might want to contact the engraver since many of them make their own castings and have them for sale. |
