Promotional items
|
| Are there any promotional items from the Guild, such as baseball caps or shirts with the FEGA logo on them? If not, is anyone other than myself interested in them? |

Funny you should mention that Bill. We are looking into that right now. We're thinking about baseball caps, polo shirts and t-shirts. Maybe other items as well. We've talked about this on and off for years but just decided we needed to get some. Can't say for sure when it will be, but I hope soon.
I would like to hear from others if they are interested as well!

| I think FEGA sweatsocks would be good. |

| Now, another question, and I'm not intending to step on toes or make anyone mad, but will the logo be modernized or updated to better fit in the space requirements for these items? It looks good as it is, but it may be a little long to fit on a hat. |

| Replying to your second question. Yes it is being looked into as I work with the design software for the embroidery machine. Of course any change will be approved before any type of production is started. |

They are just going to be REALLY tall hats!
:)
Actually, that is a problem with the logo. We are looking into that and I think the plan will be to omit the top and bottom ribbon to make it "hat friendly". It shouldn't be a problem on the shirts however. |

Rex, I think we should make the hats like the way we were talking about in Reno. Black with yellow block letters saying FEGA so the look like FBI or SWAT hats.
The FEGA sweat sock puppets can also be made up a various mascot charactors. "Mr Magnabloc", etc.
Seriously the logo will have to be tweeked in order to fit whatever it is going to go on. But consider making the FEGA letters fairly dominant even if it has to be used along with the official logo |

I designed a logo for the fire station where I am a lieutenant & had a friend of mine in Dallas do the stitching. I think he did a pretty good job. I'm sure FEGA alrady has someone lined up but if not you might want to check him out. His name is Andy Pierce & you can contact him at:

| I think we should consider a dressier shirt than a t-shirt or polo, something that the members would be proud to wear while exhibiting in Reno. |
