Membership Application

TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP:
Regular _____ (For Individuals who are engravers or are learning the craft) $50 per year.
Associate _____ (For non-engravers who wish to support the craft) $35 per year.
International ______ (For individuals who reside outside of North America) $75 per year.
Certified Professional_____(For members who have passed the guild certification program. See Criteria (PDF File)) $75. per year
Our membership year is July 1 to June 30. We do not have the resources to provide yearly membership on an individual basis.
All members receive all benefits as if joining in June. If you join after May 1, your membership will be extended through the next year.
Please Note: The information submitted on the form below is used for FEGA membership records (such as the address where your Newsletter will be delivered to). It is not used in conjunction with listing you, or your work, on the guild site. Another form is for the information you may show on the site - if you choose to do so. You must be a Regular or FEGA Certified Professional member to show your work on the site.

CODE OF ETHICS FIREARMS ENGRAVERS GUILD OF AMERICA
AS A MEMBER OF THE GUILD
1. I will make a sincere effort to improve my skills and achieve a high standard of quality in my work.
2. I will use fairness, honesty, and integrity in dealing with the public, clients, and colleagues.
3. I will honor all local, State, and Federal laws pertaining to engraving and the pursuit thereof.
4. I will uphold the By Laws of our Guild and support those who are looking after the success and welfare of the Guild and its members.
5. I will support the Guild in its efforts to inform and educate all those interested in the engravers art.
6. I will uphold and defend this code and will conduct myself at all times in a manner that will bring credibility, honor, and pride to the Guild and its members.
7. I understand that the Guild will not tolerate unethical practices and will review any complaints from the public, clients, and/or colleagues; and that any wanton violation of good ethics can bring expulsion from the Guild. A member in question will be reviewed in a fair and impartial manner with a concerted effort to obtain proof before any action is taken. Without proof, a member will be placed under observation until that determination can be made.
